WELCOME TO THE ABBVIE 2ND TIER REPORTING SYSTEM
Thank you for participating in AbbVie’s 2nd Tier Program. This Program has been developed to encourage suppliers of AbbVie to purchase goods and services from small and diverse suppliers as specified by the federal. All Suppliers to AbbVie that receive contracts of $500,000 or more are required to adopt a subcontracting plan that complies with the requirements of FAR clause 52.219-9.
AbbVie has a corporate philosophy that believes in contributing to the economic well-being of every community where we conduct business. We believe one way to put this belief into action is by doing business with small and diverse owned businesses. As a key AbbVie supplier, we request your organization to also provide these opportunities to small and diverse owned businesses.
In order to make the report as accurate as possible, we are requesting you to record your expenditures for materials or services with small and diverse owned suppliers. This online tool will facilitate the collection of this information on a quarterly basis and compile our annual report.
Report your small business after the quarter close in January, April, July and October. Tier II spend can be submitted for suppliers holding 3rd party certification.
